Phase 1: Dialux Evo – Lighting Design Foundations & 2D/3D Modeling

  1. Introduction to Lighting Design: Understanding lux levels, luminous flux, color rendering (CRI), glare evaluation (UGR), and international lighting standards.

  2. Dialux Evo Interface & Project Setup: Navigating the design workspace, setting up global preferences, and importing 2D CAD layouts or PDF blueprints.

  3. 3D Architectural Modeling: Constructing interior rooms, multi-story buildings, placing doors, windows, structural pillars, and designing outdoor spaces.

  4. Texture & Material Applications: Applying realistic surface materials, configuring reflection factors, glossiness, transparency, and color characteristics.

Phase 2: Dialux Evo – Luminaire Integration, Calculation & Documentation 05. Luminaire Catalogs & IES/LDT Files: Importing manufacturer plugins, searching photometric data files, and managing custom luminaire arrangements. 06. Interior & Exterior Lighting Layouts: Designing precise lighting architectures for commercial offices, industrial warehouses, roadways, and sports stadiums. 07. Calculation Objects & Execution: Setting up calculation surfaces, uniform distribution areas, executing calculation runs, and assessing false color renderings. 08. Raytracing & Output Generation: Configuring realistic camera views, generating high-quality architectural renders, and exporting professional PDF documentation reports.

Phase 3: Helioscope – Solar PV Design Foundations & Site Layouts 09. Introduction to Solar Engineering: Understanding PV module characteristics, inverter parameters, shading losses, global coordinates, and meteorological data. 10. Helioscope Interface & Project Creation: Setting up user profiles, starting new solar designs via Google Maps integration, and establishing site benchmarks. 11. Field Segments & Roof Modeling: Outlining complex roof shapes, setting tilt angles, defining azimuth orientations, and configuring module racking types. 12. Obstruction & Shading Analysis: Modeling physical obstructions like trees, chimneys, and adjacent structures, and calculating real-time shadow profiles.

Phase 4: Helioscope – Electrical Matching, Analytics & Production Reports 13. Inverter Selection & Stringing Configurations: Sizing commercial inverters, executing automatic stringing, and establishing maximum DC-to-AC ratios. 14. Wiring & Electrical Components: Configuring combiners, routing main DC/AC wiring lines, and defining circuit conductor loss limits. 15. Energy Production Analytics: Reviewing system loss diagrams, analyzing temperature coefficients, and auditing soil or mismatch constraints. 16. Financial Projections & Final Blueprint Portfolio: Generating comprehensive Helioscope production reports, exporting CAD files, and compiling an end-to-end commercial lighting and solar design project portfolio.
